Marie Bowen, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, FNP-C, joined Lux Infusion in October 2023, bringing over 15 years of nursing expertise and a passion for patient-centered care. Dual national board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), Marie holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Gonzaga University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Walden University, and associate degrees in Nursing and Arts/Sciences from Washington State Community Colleges. Her career began as a Certified Nursing Assistant, progressing through roles as a Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse, and now Family Nurse Practitioner, with a strong foundation in pediatrics.
Marie’s journey spans diverse settings, from the Pediatric Unit at MultiCare in Washington State, Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage to the Pediatric Intensive Care Units at UC Davis in Sacramento and Kaiser Permanente in Roseville, California. Balancing full-time graduate studies while raising a family, she completed the FNP track at Gonzaga University earning her DNP with a 3.85 GPA in 2022, showcasing her commitment to excellence. After returning to Alaska in 2022, Marie joined Lux Infusion, where she builds meaningful patient relationships, tailoring care to individual needs and driving positive health outcomes.
Originally from Washington State, Marie moved to Alaska in 2012, where she met her Alaskan husband. Married in Hawaii in 2016, they now raise three children and enjoy their German Shepherd, Rambo, in Alaska. Outside of work, Marie embraces the Alaskan lifestyle, enjoying family adventures like road trips, camping, fishing, and boating. Her dedication to continuous learning and compassionate care makes her a valued member of the Lux Infusion team, transforming lives one patient at a time.
