Dr. Demain is a preeminent immunologist who brings over three decades of experience in specialty infusion care to LUX Infusion.

Dr. Demain founded the Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Center of Alaska, the Allergy Asthma Allergy Immunology Society of Alaska, and the AAFA-Alaska Chapter. In addition to serving as medical director for LUX Infusion, he serves as medical director of the COVID-19 Coalition for Providence Alaska Medical Center.

Dr. Demain is board certified in adult and pediatric Allergy Immunology. He serves as Clinical Professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine and Affiliate Professor at UAA WWAMI School of Medical Education.

Dr. Demain attended medical school at Texas Tech University, followed by residency at Wright State University, where he served as Chief Resident, followed by an Allergy Immunology fellowship at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Dr. Demain has published over 40 peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts and has authored three textbook chapters. He continues to research and publish in both insect allergy and the impacts of climate change on respiratory health, among other topics. Dr. Demain was honored with the American Academy of Allergy Asthma & Immunology Leadership Award in 2020 and the American Academy of Pediatrics Special Achievement award in 2021.

An avid outdoorsman, Dr. Demain and his wife of 48 years have called Alaska home for almost 30 years.
