Pediatric Infusion Nurse

Christi is a Pediatric Registered Nurse joining Lux infusion with over 16-years of experience in pediatrics, with the last 10-years specializing in pediatric infusion therapies and oncology.

Christi is a native-Alaskan, leaving her home state only temporarily to pursue her college education. She attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, earning her first Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, as well as high honors. Christi then earned her Bachelors in Nursing (BSN) at The University of San Francisco, a program known for its rigor. While obtaining her BSN, she worked as a patient care technician on a pediatric oncology ward at The University of California San Francisco, igniting a passion for the pediatric population, a field she has devoted her entire career to thus far.

Since returning to Alaska to be closer to family, Christi has worked as a nurse at The Children’s Hosptial at Providence, specializing in pediatrics and pediatric oncology. Her interest in pediatric cancer led her to the infusion center at Providence for the last 10-years. Committed to clinical excellence, Christi is one of the few pediatric nurses in the state of Alaska to become a Certified Pediatric Nurse. She is also an active member of the Association of Pediatric Oncology/Hematology Nurses.

Christi’s passion for the pediatric population continues as she joins the team at Lux Infusion. Ensuring her patients, and their families, receive clinically sound, family-centered, and compassionate care continues to be her priority.

In her spare time, you can find Christi near their home in Girdwood, where she loves spending time with her family doing all of the fun things Alaska has to offer!
